STORYLINE:
Investigations are underway on Thursday after two trains crashed in San Bernardo, south of the Chilean capital Santiago.
At least two people were killed and nine others injured when a nearly empty passenger train running tests collided with a cargo train.
Police said they were investigating to determine the cause of the crash, which vaulted one train on top of the other.
The eight-car freight train was carrying 1,346 tons of copper, while the other train had 10 workers on board operating a speed test, the state rail company said.
