"It’s been a gradual increase, we started with the fashion hub market then we started with the presentations and finally we are at the runway point. So this ideally feels great, I mean I have no words to explain the feeling of gratitude that I get for Camera (della) Moda, for my team who helped me arrive to this point today. ‘

"So this time I had this thought to actually analyze how when we are young, we want to look older, we want to borrow our dad’s shoes, our mom’s heels, my dad’s blazer and just to feel older. But as you grow older everything around you, all the elements around you, they want you to look younger. Now how to play with that contrast? So the show is actually styled and managed in a way where it’s like a parent dressing their child and the child dressing the parent. So it’s that combination that you will see on the show."

STORYLINE:
Designer Dhruv Kapoor presented his new Spring/Summer collection at Milan Fashion Week, bringing back playful feelings from his childhood.
"I had this thought to actually analyze how when we are young, we want to look older, we want to borrow our dad’s shoes, our mom’s heels, my dad’s blazer and just to feel older. But as you grow older everything around you, all the elements around you, they want you to look younger," said Kapoor.
"So the show is actually styled and managed in a way where it’s like a parent dressing their child and the child dressing the parent."
And this concept is demonstrated in the mix of oversized pieces and patterned youthful styles.
The collection also means a lot to Kapoor because it was produced entirely in India.
