STORYLINE:
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon arrived at a hotel in Tokyo on Monday to attend a Sports and Leadership Luncheon as part of a three-day visit to Japan.
During his trip, Luxon is set to meet with his Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation, as well as global and regional issues.
Luxon and Kishida are expected to discuss defense and security in the increasingly contested Indo-Pacific region.
