Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni was among the first voters on Saturday in Italy casting her ballot as soon as polls opened for citizens aged 18 and above. Italians were called to vote over two days to fill 76 European parliamentary seats, with populist and far-right parties looking to make gains across the 27-member bloc.
