How to Protect Yourself From Recruitment Scammers

Social media is full of recent college graduates who say they are being recruited for jobs. However, some of those jobs don’t exist. Lilly Cotto says she is one such victim. She was thrilled when she was emailed by a recruiter looking for a personal assistant. But her excitement faded and suspicions rose as Cotto says she started having to deposit checks. The rise in these types of scams is staggering, Claire Rosenzweig of the Better Business Bureau says. Inside Edition’s Alison Hall has more.
