A college graduation is often a family affair, but for this mom and daughter, it was a closer experience than usual. Latonya Johnson and Laila Birchett both graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with their bachelors degrees in social work. Latonya says she���s been a drug and alcohol counselor for a long time, but knew she couldn���t advance in her career without a college degree and having her daughter by her side was a big help.
