Relations with China is "the biggest business and trade question facing a country like the UK," says Jonathan Reynolds, the opposition Labour Party’s spokesman for business and trade. "I want to see cooperation with China," notes Reynolds, with a caveat to make sure "international competition in the trading system is a fair one." His comments come after more than 120 business leaders signed a letter backing the Labour Party at the upcoming general election. Firms want stability to be "at the heart" of Labour’s pitch, Reynolds tells Bloomberg.
