Report found Israel still to provide evidence of UNRWA staff terror links | DW News

A new report concludes Israel has failed to provide evidence backing up its claim that members of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) were involved in terror activities. Israel made the claim in the aftermath of the October 7 Hamas terror attacks, which led to some donors freezing funds for the UN agency. An independent report reviewed its workings and found the agency has "neutrality-related issues" but concluded that it has a "robust" framework to ensure compliance.

Former UNRWA chief spokesperson Chris Gunness tells DW his thoughts on the report.
