A company in southern California is putting dogs to work to help children become more confident, and they don���t need to do a whole lot to get the job done. The therapy dogs are tasked with comforting elementary kids. It���s all part of a ���Canine Literacy��� program that improves mental health, provides anxiety relief and gives the kids confidence to read better.
