3. Poster of baby Kfir Bibas, held hostage in Gaza
4. SOUNDBITE (Hebrew) Gal Sne:
“I want the hostages to return alive, as soon as possible. If this arrest warrant, or an arrest that will follow it, I don’t know what, will expedite it, I am in favour of it.”
5. Display of hourglass
6. Pan down of hourglass
7. SOUNDBITE (Hebrew) Inbar Goldstein:
“I grew up in Kfar Aza. On Oct. 7 my brother and my niece were murdered. My sister-in-law and three of my nieces were kidnapped and released on November (2023), and my parent’s home where I grew up doesn’t exist anymore, is not standing, and everything they had doesn’t exist anymore. We are in a difficult war for 227 days, and today on the 227th day we are informed that the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in Hague, Karim Khan, will recommend or encourage to issue arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant.”
8. Screen counting number of days and time hostages are held in Gaza
9. SOUNDBITE (Hebrew) Inbar Goldstein:
“It is very similar to the complaint we filed on February against Hamas leaders when we traveled to Hague, in a delegation on behalf the forum of hostages, to submit this request . So, I see this request was also received. I don’t understand in what world we are living in where there is symmetry between leaders of a terror organisation who committed mass slaughter to heads of state who were elected in a democratic way, and it doesn’t matter if we agree or not, but they were elected in a democratic way, and they for sure are not committing genocide.”

STORYLINE:
Israelis reacted on Monday to ICC prosecutor’s decision to seek arrest warrants for Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"I want the hostages to return alive, as soon as possible. If this arrest warrant, or an arrest that will follow it, I don’t know what, will expedite it, I am in favour of it,” said Gal Sne.
The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court said on Monday he was seeking arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas leaders, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Karim Khan said Monday that he believes Netanyahu, his defense minister Yoav Gallant and three Hamas leaders are responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip and Israel.
“I don’t understand in what world we are living in where there is symmetry between leaders of a terror organisation who committed mass slaughter to heads of state who were elected in a democratic way,” said Inbar Goldstein, whose brother and niece were killed on Oct. 7 and her family members taken hostage and then released.
“It doesn’t matter if we agree or not, but they were elected in a democratic way, and they for sure are not committing genocide.”
The prosecutor must request the warrants from a pre-trial panel of three judges, who take on average two months to consider the evidence and determine if the proceedings can move forward.
