STORYLINE:
Hundreds of Catholic worshippers took part in a Way of the Cross reenactment in the Chilean city of Colina on Good Friday.
All over the world, believers attended mock crucifixions and passion plays to mark the day Jesus Christ was crucified.
In Colina, they participated in the traditional representation of the Passion and Death of Christ.
The procession was headed by the Father Jorge Osorio of the Esmeralda parish.
The religious festival, according to the faithful, has been taking place on the hill for over 50 years and has become more modern over time.
In this year’s Way of the Cross more than 80 worshippers participated as actors.
