STORYLINE:
Dust filled the air and reduced visibility in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, as sandstorms sweep across several countries in the Middle East.
The National Center of Meteorology in the UAE issued warnings about the air quality, describing it as harmful across large areas.
However, it did help drop temperatures slightly, as recent days have been hot.
Sandstorms also occurred in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region over the past day.
