A sad and upsetting day was made worse when eight pallbearers fell into an open grave. The men were carrying a coffin to its final resting place, when the structure surrounding the freshly dug grave collapsed. The deceased man’s son was even trapped under his father’s coffin. While none of the men suffered life-threatening injuries, they say the greatest impact was emotional.
