The Ukrainian Airforce says it intercepted 43 of the 55 missiles launched by Russia overnight.
Despite a diplomatic surge between Washington and Moscow, there has been little meaningful progress on Donald Trump’s aim of achieving a ceasefire in Russia’s war on Ukraine. Trump vented his frustration at the lack of progress ahead of the latest talks between US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Russia’s Vladimir Putin. Now, a new vision for a ceasefire has emerged involving troops from France and the United Kingdom.
