A poor chicken was caught in the middle of a standoff between sheriff’s deputies and its alleged abductor. The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office in Washington says it was called by a woman who claimed her pet chicken was taken by her former boyfriend. A search of a wooded area quickly turned up the suspect.
