A prominent doctor attempted to push his wife off a cliff and struck her head multiple times with a rock while hiking a trail in Oahu, Hawaii, police say. Dr. Gerhardt Konig reportedly attacked his wife Arielle on her birthday after she refused to take a photo with him. Police say two women who reportedly stumbled on the attack chased off the doctor who fled on foot. After a 7-hour manhunt, Konig was found on a roadway near the hiking trail arrested for attempted murder.
