VOICEOVER: Anya Taylor-Joy brought classical movie-star glamour to the “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” red carpet in Cannes Wednesday night, in a cream-colored custom Dior gown, with jewels from Tiffany and Co.
Her co-star, Chris Hemsworth, committed a dress code violation: ignoring the black tie rule at Cannes, he opted for a white jacket and shirt with no tie.
Greta Gerwig wore a custom Armani Privé gown with embellished straps and jewelry by Chopard… while Eva Green chose a high-neck gown by Balmain, with gold sequined scales and mesh cutouts.
Naomi Campbell revived one of her iconic runway looks: a Chanel gown with bands of mesh cutouts and pearl straps that she originally modeled at the label’s fall 1996 couture show.
